Luis Enrique, the head coach of Paris Saint-Germain, commented on Kylian Mbappe's departure to Real Madrid this summer. Enrique said in a press conference on Thursday, "I have no problem with Mbappe, and I didn't expect to talk about him again, but I have always expressed my admiration for him; he is a wonderful character, just like his brother Ethan Mbappe."
The Spanish coach added, "I wish them both success in the next phase, and I also hope that Real Madrid loses to us." He noted, "It's fantastic to have a player in the team who scores 40 goals in a season; however, based on my experience, it's better to have four players who can each score 12 goals."
He continued, "At that point, the total would be better than 40 goals, and I am very confident in the attacking players at PSG right now, such as Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé, Kolomuani, Ramos, and Asensio."
Enrique concluded his remarks on this subject: "It's an exciting challenge and also an opportunity to prove that football is a team sport, and as a coach, I want to improve both defensive and offensive performance."
