The Lebanese Athletics Federation continued to implement its schedule of activities for 2023, organizing an athletics meet at the Camille Chamoun Sports City Stadium in Beirut. The event was attended by Federation President Roland Saadeh, Vice President Nadia Naim, Secretary General Wassim Houlie, Treasurer Maria Kevorkian, and members Philip Baghani and Ayman Al-Shami.
A total of 110 male and female athletes from ten clubs and associations affiliated with the Lebanese Athletics Federation participated, resulting in two new records: Maryam Youssef from Batroun Stars set a new record in the women's hammer throw (4 kg) with a distance of 39.04 meters (a new record for the under 20 age category, surpassing her own previous record of 38.66 meters), and Ziad Al-Shami from Let’s Run set a new record in the high jump with a height of 1.30 meters (a new record for the under 12 age category, surpassing the previous record of 1.26 meters by William Yamin from the Meiramians Chanfiel Club).
