New Details on Egyptian Pilot Who Died During Flight from Cairo

New details have emerged about the Egyptian pilot Hassan Adas, who passed away a few days ago during a flight from Cairo to Taif, forcing the aircraft to make an emergency landing at Jeddah Airport in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Gamal Shaaban, a professor of cardiology, revealed that all indications confirm that the late pilot died from a heart attack while flying the plane. He noted that the pilot had a valid medical fitness certificate that he obtained three months prior to the incident.

Dr. Shaaban added that the sudden pain Adas experienced exhibited symptoms characteristic of a heart attack, including severe and sudden fatigue.

In a related development, a close friend of the pilot shared with "Al Arabiya.net" that Adas had been suffering from psychological distress in recent times following the death of his brother two months earlier, who also succumbed to a sudden heart attack. The friend explained that the pilot was operating a flight for a private company, different from his regular employer, when he felt severe pains and made an emergency landing in Jeddah.

The Egyptian Pilots Association expressed its condolences for the deceased pilot, announcing that he experienced a sudden health crisis during the flight from Cairo to Taif, prompting the co-pilot to perform a safe emergency landing at Jeddah Airport. The association also noted that Adas breathed his last during the aircraft's stop in Jeddah.

The co-pilot announced the captain's death during the flight last Wednesday, causing panic among the passengers. He conveyed the news in a somber and emotional tone, informing the passengers that the pilot had passed away mid-flight, which created a state of terror among them, with some passengers shocked and others breaking down in tears.
