"National Free Movement": A Short Work Trip for Bassil Abroad

The "National Free Movement" indicated in a statement that while news is circulating regarding the travel of the head of the movement, MP Gebran Bassil, it is known that he has gone abroad for a work trip lasting less than 24 hours. He had visited the town of Baskinta yesterday, where lawyer Walid Joseph Khoury hosted a dinner in his honor, attended by several ministers, MPs, judges, lawyers, mayors, mukhtars, and active public figures, mostly from the Jurd of Metn North. He gave a speech emphasizing the movement's concept of Lebanon and the meaning of freedom and diversity within it. The statement also noted that he met with a large group of members from the National Free Movement in Baskinta, where he spoke about the concept of party commitment and the national role of the movement. It added that Bassil will resume his activities in Lebanon according to his usual program tomorrow.
