A tragic incident shook the Monufia Governorate in Egypt yesterday, Thursday, as a father and his two daughters were struck by a speeding car on Paris Street in Shebin El Kom. They were walking alongside the road when they were suddenly hit by the vehicle in a horrific manner. They were transported to the educational hospital in Shebin El Kom, but unfortunately, the two girls passed away today, Friday, due to their injuries, while their father's condition remains critical in the intensive care unit, according to local media reports.
It is worth noting that the Director of Security in Monufia received a notification yesterday from the head of Shebin El Kom Police Station regarding the incident involving the car hitting the father and his daughters on Paris Street. The necessary report has been filed, and the public prosecution has been notified to begin investigations. Meanwhile, a security force from Shebin El Kom Police Station has arrested the driver of the vehicle, and investigations are ongoing regarding the allegations against him.
