The Jordanian national team compensated for their first loss in the 21st Arab Basketball Championship for under 18s, currently held at the Cairo Indoor Halls, by defeating their Lebanese counterpart 71/59. This marks their first victory following a loss in the opening round against the Egyptian team, the top contender for the title. The Jordanians led in the first quarter 19/15, the third quarter 21/19, and the final quarter 15/9, while the second quarter ended in a tie at 16/16. The winning team made five three-point shots out of 18 attempts, compared to Lebanon's four out of 22 attempts, and secured 61 rebounds versus Lebanon's 40. This evening, the Egyptian and Lebanese teams will meet to conclude the first round.
