Israeli media confirmed damage to a warehouse near the settlement of Betzet and a fire broke out there following Hezbollah's rocket launch targeting northern Israel. The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported that "following the sounding of sirens in western Galilee, a rocket hit a warehouse near the town of Betzet, causing a fire," and firefighting teams rushed to the scene. Israeli news pages on Telegram shared a video showing flames in Kiryat Shmona due to the fallout from a projectile.
For its part, Hezbollah issued several statements regarding its operations carried out against Israel on Friday, stating that they were "in support of our steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and in support of their valiant and honorable resistance":
