Tensions in Southern Lebanon: Two Killed by Israeli Drone Strike in Mays al-Jabal

The Lebanese National News Agency reported today that an Israeli drone targeted the area near the cemetery in the town of Mays al-Jabal, resulting in two fatalities according to the Ministry of Health. One of the deceased was an ambulance worker with the Islamic Resistance Scouts. Israeli warplanes also conducted attacks early this morning on the town of Kfarkila. Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee stated via X that the military carried out strikes on sites belonging to a Lebanese organization in Kfarkila and shelled Shebaa and Rashaya al-Foukhar, claiming that warplanes struck a weapons depot and several terrorist infrastructure locations linked to Hezbollah in Kfarkila, southern Lebanon.
