Nassir Al-Nassiri, the Vice Chairman of the Red Sea Ports Authority affiliated with "Ansar Allah," which is responsible for the Yemeni port of Hodeidah, revealed the extent of the losses resulting from the Israeli strike on the port. French media outlets reported the Yemeni official's statement that "the losses at Hodeidah port exceed twenty million dollars, while the assessment for oil facilities is left to the Ministry of Oil."
Al-Nassiri explained that "among the material damages sustained by the port are the destruction of two gantry cranes, one marine vessel, and several facilities and buildings belonging to the authority at the port, in addition to damage to the docks that led to a halt in port activities for a specific period." It is noteworthy that Israeli warplanes had attacked Hodeidah port on July 20, a day after "Ansar Allah" claimed responsibility for a drone attack that resulted in casualties in Tel Aviv.
