Arrest of 11 Suspects for Murder, Drug Crimes, and Theft in Tripoli

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces — Public Relations Division announced in a statement that, as a result of the ongoing monitoring by the Internal Security Forces to maintain security stability in the northern governorate, the specialized units continued to implement their plan to arrest wanted individuals and suspects. On 14-05-2024, information branch patrols conducted raids and ambushes within the city of Tripoli, resulting in the arrest of eleven individuals as follows:

- M. H. (born 1998, Lebanese) wanted on an arrest warrant for attempted murder and drug use, arrested in the Tabbaneh area.

- H. T. (born 1999, Lebanese) wanted for firing a military weapon, arrested in the Zahariyeh area.

- A. Sh. (born 2001, Lebanese) has two arrest warrants, one for murder and attempted murder, and the second for theft, arrested in the Qubbeh area.

- Z. Y. (born 1996, Lebanese) wanted for drug use, arrested in the Qubbeh area with a quantity of hashish and a cigarette rolling paper notebook.

- M. Sh. (born 1998, Lebanese) wanted on an arrest warrant for attempted murder by gunfire, arrested in the Tabbaneh area with a military pistol, a magazine, and 12 rounds of usable ammunition.

- M. M. (born 1993, Lebanese) wanted on an arrest warrant for robbing a motorcycle using a military pistol, arrested in the Qubbeh area with a military pistol, a magazine, and 10 rounds of usable ammunition.

- A. A. (born 2002, Lebanese) wanted for a shooting incident, arrested in the Zahariyeh area with a quantity of hashish and a mobile phone.

- A. H. (born 1996, Lebanese) wanted on a search warrant for firearm discharge and has two convictions for drug crimes, arrested in the Qubbeh area with a military pistol, a magazine, 8 rounds of usable ammunition, 5 Rivotril pills, two packs of hashish rolling paper, a bag containing 18 Captagon pills, two bags with a quantity of hashish, and a mobile phone.

- N. Q. (born 1992, Syrian) wanted on an arrest warrant for attempted murder, arrested in the Qubbeh area.

- M. S. (born 1970, Lebanese) wanted on an arrest warrant for kidnapping and extortion while displaying a pistol, arrested in the Baranieh area.

- M. M. (born 1998, Syrian) wanted on an arrest warrant for theft and has two convictions for drug offenses and illegal residency, arrested in the Souk Al-Dahab area.

Legal proceedings were initiated against them, and they were taken with the confiscated materials to the relevant authorities as directed by the judiciary.
