The Lebanese Army Command - Directorate of Guidance has issued the following statements: "On July 24, 2023, between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM (local time), non-governmental organizations working in the field of mine clearance will conduct explosions of unexploded ordnance in the vicinity of the following southern towns: Amara, Hula, Arab al-Louiza, Aita al-Jabal, al-Abbasiya, Burj al-Shamali, and Yaron.
Additionally, a military unit will conduct training exercises from July 18, 2023, to July 27, 2023, between 9:00 AM and 7:00 PM daily in the area of Ayoun al-Siman, which will include live fire using light and medium weapons.
Also, a military unit will carry out training exercises in the region of Wata al-Jouz from July 11, 2023, to July 30, 2023, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, involving live fire with light and medium weapons.
Furthermore, a military unit will conduct day and night training exercises in the area of Ras Masqa - Koura from July 10, 2023, to July 27, 2023, which will include live and blank fire with light and medium weapons.
Finally, a military unit will be conducting training exercises in the areas of Kfarfalous, the training field of Mazraat Hnouch - Hamat, Bajdafl, Kfatoun, and Jurd al-Aaqoura - Hadath Baalbek from July 9, 2023, to August 4, 2023, between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM daily, which will include live and blank fire with heavy and medium weapons.
Therefore, the Army Command urges citizens and owners of fishing and recreational boats not to approach the exercise areas during the mentioned dates and times."
