Samsung Prepares to Showcase Exceptional Products

Samsung is preparing to launch a new range of products, including new categories for the company such as smart glasses and rings. The company is also expected to introduce its first smartphone that relies on artificial intelligence technologies. According to the Galaxy Club website, Samsung has submitted several trademark registration applications related to the new products, including names like "AI Phone" and "AI Smartphone," suggesting that these products possess AI capabilities.

Weeks ago, Samsung revealed its initial efforts in the field of artificial intelligence through the launch of its smart assistant, "Galaxy AI." This assistant features the ability to support users of its smart devices, including its flagship smartphones, in performing various tasks such as answering calls and writing text messages, in addition to summarizing and creating texts easily and effectively. As a result of these developments, it appears that the Galaxy 24 phones will be the first from the South Korean company to explicitly offer AI features. They are expected to be launched in mid-January, reinforcing Samsung's position in the advanced technology sector.

Regarding glasses and rings, Samsung also filed for a trademark registration for "Samsung Glass" in the UK. This request encompasses diverse sectors such as augmented reality and virtual reality glasses, in addition to smartphones and headphones. It seems that Samsung is ready to robustly enter the mixed reality market, as reports indicate that the company plans to launch its first mixed reality glasses in the first quarter of the upcoming year. The company announced these glasses earlier this year and collaborated with Qualcomm and Google in their development. This move will directly challenge the "Apple Vision Pro" glasses, unveiled by Apple last June.

In addition to "Galaxy Glass," Samsung has applied for trademark registrations including "Magic Pixel," "Flex Magic," and "Flex Magic Pixel" in the augmented reality glasses sector, according to SamMobile. Furthermore, the registration of patents for technologies like the "Galaxy Ring" indicates its interest in developing a variety of smart devices. Previous patents from Samsung focus on the upcoming ring, which "includes many advanced sensors capable of tracking a range of vital signs in the human body through a finger."

The company has also recorded patents reflecting its exploration of different methods to control the surface of the smart ring, enabling the wearer to complete various tasks using different gestures despite the limited surface area of the ring. One of the patents included the idea of wearing the ring on one or more fingers, as its design could be a traditional circular ring or a cylindrical one extending over multiple fingers, in addition to potentially having a screen on its surface displaying visual notifications, such as showing an envelope icon when the user receives an email.
