The "Mayas" troupe debuted from the waterfront of Beirut for the first time in a completely different format, presenting their first performance in Lebanon titled "Rise," which tells the story of beautiful Beirut. The "Rise" performance depicts Beirut as seen through one's eyes: "the forgotten Beirut, not as we see it today. I realize it is weak today, but I will remind it of the strengths it possesses." The official page of the "Mayas" troupe shared the official poster for the show on Instagram, receiving a warm welcome from the troupe's followers and fans. The caption stated that the performance would last approximately eighty minutes.
Nadim Sharafian, the founder of the "Mayas" troupe, said: "His new artistic performance 'Rise' is for him like the cherry on top of the cake." He added: "After a long wait, I am taking this step, which I consider a bright milestone in my journey. It is a dream I see coming true before my eyes. The preparation for the show took me a long year. I am confident that it will touch the hearts of all Lebanese, irrespective of their backgrounds."
It is worth mentioning that the "Mayas" troupe captivated the world after winning America's Got Talent in September 2022. The troupe amazed their audience with their first artistic piece titled "Free."
