Fire Belts Surround Gaza.. Threat to Bomb Hospital Housing 14,000 Displaced

The Israeli warplanes have launched intensive airstrikes across widespread areas in the Gaza Strip, opening a new front tonight as part of their ground invasion tactics, particularly towards the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood. Thick clouds of smoke can be seen covering the targeted areas, while the Palestinian Red Crescent announced today, Sunday, that it received warnings from Israeli authorities to evacuate Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza immediately, noting that the hospital houses approximately 14,000 displaced persons and is adjacent to UNRWA shelter centers.

It added in a statement: "Since the morning hours, the vicinity of Al-Quds Hospital has been witnessing continuous airstrikes that led to the destruction of surrounding buildings within a 50-meter radius."

Urgent updates revealed severe threats for the immediate evacuation of Al-Quds Hospital as it is set to be bombed. Continuous airstrikes have resulted in damage to several surrounding buildings in the vicinity.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization expressed that the Palestinian Red Crescent's report about the evacuation warnings for Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza is "extremely alarming."

The Gaza Interior Ministry reported that Israeli aircraft targeted a bus carrying citizens in the southern area of the city, resulting in several casualties and injuries.

The military wing of Hamas, Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that it is "engaging in fierce clashes using machine guns and anti-tank weapons against the invading occupation forces in northwestern Gaza."

The Government Media Office in Gaza stated that "Israeli forces have committed numerous massacres today, resulting in the death of more than 116 medical personnel and around 35 journalists since the onset of the aggression." More than 200,000 housing units and 47 mosques have suffered damage, along with harm to three churches.

The Government Media warned that the Israeli army is threatening to bomb the Orthodox Cultural Center, which houses 1,000 displaced persons, and the Greek Orthodox School, which accommodates 500 displaced individuals.

Bashar Murad, the director of Al-Quds Hospital, stated that there are about 14,000 displaced persons inside Al-Quds Hospital in Gaza, which is under threat of being bombed at any moment. He further mentioned that Israeli planes targeted a residential tower near the hospital, causing damage.

UNRWA disclosed today, Sunday, that thousands of residents in Gaza have stormed their warehouses and aid distribution centers, seizing flour and "essential survival materials." The agency, part of the United Nations, stated: "This is a concerning sign that the civil order is beginning to collapse after three weeks of war and intensified blockade on Gaza."

One of the warehouses is located in the Deir al-Balah area, where UNRWA stores supplies from humanitarian convoys crossing into Gaza from Egypt.

"People are scared, frustrated, and desperate. Tensions and fear are worsened by the cuts in the phone and internet communication lines. They feel that they are on their own, cut off from their families inside #Gaza and the rest of the world," noted UNRWA.

The agency highlighted that supplies in the market are dwindling, while humanitarian aid reaching the Gaza Strip via trucks from Egypt is insufficient, stating that the current system for introducing humanitarian convoys into Gaza "is set for failure."

UNRWA added: "The needs of the communities are enormous, even just for survival, while the assistance we receive is meager and inconsistent." It emphasized that its ability to assist people in Gaza has drastically decreased due to airstrikes, which have resulted in the deaths of more than 50 of its staff and restricted the movement of supplies.

The Gaza Health Ministry revealed that Israeli forces have committed 56 massacres in the last hours, claiming the lives of 302 martyrs, the majority of whom are displaced persons.

A reporter from the Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" reported the deaths of dozens of citizens and injuries to others in the Al-Shati refugee camp in western Gaza, with some bodies recovered and others still trapped under the rubble.

Israeli warplanes also bombed an inhabited home in the Tal al-Hawa neighborhood in western Gaza, a six-story building that resulted in casualties among civilians. Near the Al-Zeitoun neighborhood in the southeastern part of the city, hostile warplanes targeted several homes, leading to at least 30 deaths and injuries.

In the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza, aircraft struck about five houses, resulting in fatalities and injuries among civilians. They also bombed two homes in the Al-Shujaiya neighborhood, causing more casualties.

In the Jabalia camp, Israeli planes bombed 110 homes, killing at least 45 and injuring others, and destroyed a residential square in Beir al-Najja, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.

In the central sector, planes targeted homes in the Al-Bureij and Al-Nuseirat camps and the city of Deir al-Balah, resulting in more casualties, with some still trapped under the rubble.

In Khan Younis and Rafah, about 57 citizens were killed, mostly displaced individuals, after warplanes destroyed homes on top of residents, and they were transferred to Abu Youssef Najjar and Nasser hospitals in the southern sector.
