A source from Hezbollah stated, as reported by Al Jazeera, that "they take Israeli threats seriously and have fully prepared for this matter," adding, "The term enemy regarding a severe and limited strike means nothing to us because it is aggression regardless of its magnitude." The source revealed that "they informed the envoys about their communication with the enemy to protect civilians, but we do not trust our enemy." He pointed out that "the envoys proposed not to respond to the anticipated aggression, and we informed them of our rejection of that." He emphasized, "We will certainly respond to any Israeli aggression." He confirmed that "the resistance leadership will decide the form and scale of the response to any potential aggression," clarifying: "We are capable of striking military facilities in Haifa, the Golan Heights, and Ramat David severely and violently." He noted that "he does not expect a limited ground invasion of Lebanon, but we are in a state of full readiness," adding that "a ground invasion of Lebanon would be a motive for us to take our first steps into the Galilee," reaffirming that "he was not surprised by the American endorsement of the enemy's narrative, as it had previously adopted its narrative regarding the al-Mahdi massacre."
