Hezbollah considered that the "treacherous Zionist aggression against Yemen, fully protected and supported by the US, is a continuation of the American-British aggression against Yemen and the ongoing blockade for many years. It is a clear affirmation of the utmost importance of support fronts in the entire region and their significant role in defending the Palestinian people."
In a statement following Israeli airstrikes on the Yemeni port of Hodeidah, Hezbollah confirmed that "the aggression will not weaken the resolve of this people and its leadership, but will increase their strength, determination, and persistence along this difficult and bloody path that inevitably leads to the victory of resistance."
Hezbollah added: "We believe that the foolish step taken by the Zionist enemy heralds a new and dangerous phase of confrontation that is profoundly significant for the entire region." They noted their "full confidence that the Yemeni leadership, with its knowledge, courage, and strength, is capable of taking the appropriate and necessary steps to deter this enemy and its regional and international allies."
Hezbollah emphasized its strong support for the Yemeni people in defending themselves, their sovereignty, and their heroic and historical stance alongside Palestine and its people and resistance.
