Israeli artillery also hit a Lebanese army center in Al-Wazani, causing significant damage but no injuries. Last night, inhabited homes in the western and central sectors faced artillery shelling. Illumination flares were deployed in the sky over the area, while Israeli reconnaissance flights were noted above the towns in the western and central sectors. There was also a significant presence of drones over UNIFIL centers and villages in these sectors, continuing until this morning.
In response, the Islamic Resistance - Hezbollah issued a statement expressing support for the steadfast Palestinian people in Gaza and their brave and honorable resistance. It stated that, in retaliation for the Israeli enemy's targeting of homes in southern villages, Hezbollah fighters targeted a building in the Metulla settlement at 6:40 AM today, where Israeli soldiers were located, using appropriate weaponry, and they achieved a direct hit. Hezbollah's military media also released a video showing scenes from the targeting of several sites belonging to the Israeli army along the Lebanese-Palestinian border with appropriate weapons. The video shows missiles being fired by Hezbollah members at five Israeli military sites, successfully hitting their targets and producing smoke from the targeted military locations.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that an anti-tank missile struck a building in Metulla, causing damage but no injuries.
