"Real Danger": Australia Urges Citizens to Leave Lebanon!

Australia has urged its citizens in Lebanon to leave immediately, stating that there is a real danger of escalating tensions between Israel and Hezbollah. Foreign Minister Penny Wong said, "Now is the time to leave; the security situation could deteriorate rapidly, perhaps without warning." Wong added that "Beirut Airport could close completely if the situation worsens, which could strand those wishing to leave for an extended period," and encouraged Australians to use commercial flights that are operating.
