Mohammed Youssef Al-Abadi Re-elected as Head of Jordanian Artists Association

Director Mohammed Youssef Al-Abadi has been re-elected for a second consecutive term as the head of the Jordanian Artists Association for the thirteenth session (2024-2026). Al-Abadi received 201 votes, while his competitor, artist Sari Al-Asaad, received 75 votes out of a total of 277 ballots, with one blank ballot. It is noteworthy that 331 members out of a total of 718 paid their dues to the Jordanian Artists Association. Prior to the elections, a regular general assembly conference of the association was held, during which the financial and administrative reports were read and approved. The members of the council will be announced later this evening upon the completion of the sorting process.
