A joint statement from the Israeli army and the Shin Bet security service announced the assassination of two prominent leaders in the Jenin refugee camp, one of whom is the commander of the Jenin brigade, Mohammad al-Zubeidi. The Israeli army declared the city of Jenin in the West Bank a "closed military zone" today, Wednesday, following its incursion into the city, where armed confrontations erupted with Palestinians.

The Palestinian official news agency (Wafa) reported that large forces from the Israeli army, accompanied by bulldozers, invaded the city from multiple axes, raiding several neighborhoods and positioning snipers on the rooftops of several high buildings, imposing a blockade on the Jenin camp from all directions.

According to a statement from the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, the Israeli army detained one of its ambulance crews in front of Jenin Government Hospital and prevented the transfer of a gunshot wound victim to the hospital. The society added that the Israeli army later arrested the injured person from inside the ambulance at the hospital entrance.

In a related context, Israeli forces stormed various areas in the West Bank, focusing on the city of Jericho, the Aqabat Jabr camp, and the Al-Eisawiya neighborhood in Jerusalem, where confrontations erupted. They also invaded the villages of Yatma and بيت فوريك near Nablus, and Arraba south of Jenin, where they raided the homes of several citizens aiming to arrest those they describe as "wanted."

**Death of Two Children**

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of two Palestinian children today, Wednesday, due to Israeli military fire in Jenin in the West Bank. The ministry's spokesperson revealed the "martyrdom of child Adam Samer al-Ghoul (8 years old) and child Basel Suleiman Abu al-Wafa (15 years old)."

**Islamic Jihad Movement**

For its part, the Al-Quds Brigades - Jenin Battalion declared that "its fighters engaged in long hours of confrontations with Israeli forces, inflicting significant losses on them. They also performed ambushes and achieved confirmed injuries among enemy ranks. We also detonated explosives on enemy vehicles and infantry forces in the Al-Damij neighborhood, causing confirmed casualties."
