Over 100 Israeli Strikes in the Skies of Jabalia

Israeli strikes on the Gaza Strip continued as the Israeli army requested residents of additional neighborhoods in eastern Rafah to evacuate, despite international warnings against launching a comprehensive attack on the city. Palestinian media reported that Israeli aircraft carried out more than 100 airstrikes over the Jabalia refugee camp in recent hours, alongside ongoing low and heavy reconnaissance flights. Intense Israeli airstrikes also targeted the new camp in Nuseirat in central Gaza.

On the other hand, the Jerusalem Post indicated that a missile fell in Ashkelon, hitting an apartment and causing substantial damage. Three individuals were reported to have sustained minor injuries and were sent to a medical center for treatment. The Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" reported the deaths of several citizens and the injuries of others early Sunday after Israeli aircraft targeted various areas in the Gaza Strip.

Medical sources announced the arrival of the bodies of two deceased individuals and five injured persons at the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City after heavy gunfire from Israeli Apache warplanes targeted the southern outskirts of the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of the city. Israeli airstrikes targeted homes near Hassan al-Banna Mosque in the Zeitoun neighborhood, and medical sources reported one death and six injuries reaching the Baptist Hospital in the city.

Additionally, the body of a doctor and his son were recovered due to an airstrike from an Israeli warplane on the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, and they were transported to the Martyrs' Hospital in Deir al-Balah. The Gaza Civil Defense announced today, Sunday, the deaths of two doctors due to an Israeli airstrike on Deir al-Balah. The Civil Defense stated, "The body of doctor Muhammad Nimer Qaz'aat and his son, doctor Youssef, were recovered from an Israeli airstrike on the city of Deir al-Balah, and they were transported to the Martyrs' Hospital in Deir al-Balah."

Israel had previously asked Palestinians in areas of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza to evacuate their locations and head to what it refers to as the expanded humanitarian area in the Mawasi region, following the army's control of the main road separating the eastern and western sides of the city, signifying that the army is moving forward with its plans to launch a ground assault on Rafah.
