Hezbollah announced that it has carried out 509 operations against Israeli sites and army gatherings since the beginning of the war on Gaza until December 14. On Saturday, it targeted two houses where Israeli soldiers were holed up, according to its statement. As mutual confrontations continue between Israel and Hezbollah, the Israeli army reported yesterday that it targeted several individuals in a region in southern Lebanon associated with Hezbollah, following the launch of three shells from Lebanese territory towards northern Israel.
It added on Telegram: "The Israeli army's artillery is shelling the source of the fire," indicating that several suspects were targeted in an area in Lebanon known to be associated with Hezbollah. For his part, Avichai Adraee, the Israeli army spokesperson, stated on his account on the platform X that warplanes struck a series of Hezbollah targets, noting several shelling operations from Lebanon towards Israel in recent hours, and that the army responded with artillery shelling towards areas in Lebanon.
Hezbollah's channel, Al-Manar, reported quoting Israeli media that "a bomb-laden drone was launched from Lebanon and hit an Israeli army gathering in Margaliot, resulting in two injuries," also mentioning that "military censorship has imposed a ban on publishing information about this security event." Hezbollah mourned one of its fighters while announcing several military operations targeting gatherings of Israeli soldiers and military sites, in addition to two houses occupied by soldiers.
In separate statements, the "Islamic Resistance" announced that its fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Haraj Ramim and observed a group of Israeli soldiers entering two houses in the settlement of Al-Manara, leading to them targeting these houses with appropriate weapons, causing direct hits and resulting in deaths and injuries. This follow-up occurred after an aerial attack with a suicide drone on the positioning of Israeli soldiers outside the Ramim barracks (the occupied Lebanese village of Hounin), confirming casualties.
Before noon, Hezbollah fighters targeted an armored Israeli force at the Moutala site, achieving direct hits. In the morning, they targeted a bunker that Israeli soldiers were fortifying at the Barqat Risha site with a guided missile, resulting in several being killed or injured, according to Hezbollah's statement. This followed hours of gunfire from the Israeli site at Barqat Risha towards the peripheries of the towns of Aita al-Shaab - Ramiyah, as reported by the National News Agency.
In the southern region, intermittent shelling has not calmed, with an Israeli airstrike targeting the outskirts of Aita al-Shaab, and the area between the towns of Majdel Zoun and Al-Jabin was subjected to artillery fire. Strikes were also reported in a valley near the town of Ramiyah and on Mount Bilat in the western sector, where an interceptor missile explosion was also reported in the skies over the border town of Al-Dhahira.
In Marjeyoun, the outskirts of the town of Rab Thalathin and the towns of Markaba and Bani Hayan were subjected to artillery bombardment. Additionally, two shells fell on the outskirts of the town of Houla, and an artillery shell landed on Bab Taniya - Khiyam. In the evening, the National News Agency reported that artillery targeted the town of Houla, with shells falling near homes in the Sabih neighborhood and the Bir Al-Msalbiyah area.
