The commander of the Russian special forces "Akhmat," General Apti Alaudinov, confirmed that around 12,000 Ukrainian troops, including many foreigners, have entered the territory of Kursk Oblast, and most of them have been neutralized. Alaudinov stated, "We know that the number of those who entered Kursk Oblast is approximately 12,000. It should be noted that these are the remaining units from some battalions and brigades that were deployed along the front line, and they were transported from there and thrown here," according to the Russian news site Sputnik.
He continued, "Regarding the foreign presence, I want to point out that there were a lot of foreigners in the beginning, which means that Polish, English, and French can be heard everywhere. There were also individuals with dark skin of unknown nationality, but I can say that most of them have already, in principle, been neutralized."
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported today, Thursday, that the Russian army stopped and destroyed attempts by units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces to penetrate the region toward Kursk. Reports suggest that Ukrainian forces are still capable of breaching several points and seizing more villages, despite significant material losses, and they continue to deploy more troops toward Kursk.
