Five years have passed since the departure of Egyptian artist Farouk El-Fishawy, who left this world after battling cancer. The life of the late Farouk El-Fishawy was filled with behind-the-scenes stories and secrets that he did not fully reveal, and the audience continues to discover parts of those secrets from time to time. Egyptian media figure Mahmoud Saad, on the anniversary of El-Fishawy's passing, shared a video clip on his official Facebook page titled "My First Love and Farouk El-Fishawy's Only Love."
In the clip, he discussed the phenomenon of first love, questioning whether it is real or not, and then shared various information about the late Farouk El-Fishawy, recalling memories from a television interview conducted approximately a quarter-century ago. Saad affirmed that at that time, El-Fishawy had been married many times, commenting, "Women loved him... and he was embracing life." He clarified that when the interview was recorded, El-Fishawy was not married, having gone through four previous marriages.
However, when he spoke about love in his life, El-Fishawy confirmed to Mahmoud Saad that there was an artist he deeply loved, though he had never married her. Saad mentioned that he had a guess regarding that artist, and later found out that his guess was indeed correct. He continued, "I asked him, 'Farouk, the one you loved, didn't you marry her?' He said no, and if he didn't marry her, he wouldn't marry anyone else." Saad asserted that the late Farouk El-Fishawy indeed experienced marriage stories afterward but did not marry the artist who he described as the love of his life.
The Egyptian media figure revealed that just a few days after the episode, he filmed with that artist but did not disclose her name, simply describing her as "the beloved," emphasizing that it was a beautiful love story, but in the end, it did not culminate in marriage.
