Hezbollah's military media announced in a statement that its fighters "targeted at (1:45 PM) on Sunday, January 7, 2024, a gathering of enemy soldiers in southern Manara with rocket fire, achieving a direct hit." They also targeted "at (3:05 PM) on Sunday, January 7, 2024, a radar site in the occupied Shebaa Farms with rocket fire and achieved a direct hit." In response, Israeli bombardment targeted the center of the town of Khiam with incendiary bombs, as well as the Shalihat area and the Al-Awaida neighborhood on the outskirts of Khiam towards the plain. The Israeli army also shelled the cemetery of the southern town of Tiri.

Israeli bombardment continues on southern villages, and reports this Sunday morning indicated the falling of 3 shells on Wadi Al-Jamal and 3 shells on Hill Al-Ruwayseh, as well as 2 shells on the outskirts of Hula from the side of Al-Abad. The Hammas Hill in Serda and the outskirts of the towns of Aytroun and Yaron also experienced intermittent artillery shelling from Israeli army positions. Israeli warplanes carried out 4 airstrikes on the area between Al-Labouna and Naqoura, and also targeted Wadi Hassan located between Tyre Harfa and Majdel Zoun.

Israeli aircraft flew over Beirut and reached the north, also flying over the district of Bint Jbeil, conducting mock raids and breaking the sound barrier twice, dropping thermal bombs before heading to Tyre. Loud noises were heard over Tabnin and Bint Jbeil, and the aircraft was clearly seen.

While maintenance workers from the contracting company for the Electricity of Lebanon and volunteers from the town of Hula were working on repairing electricity cables that were cut due to Israeli airstrikes in the town at Bir Al-Maslabiyat, accompanied by the Lebanese army, they were subjected to very close Israeli shelling, but divine intervention prevented any injuries.
