The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces announced in a statement today, Saturday, that "within the framework of the continuous monitoring conducted by the Internal Security Forces to curb drug trafficking and promotion in various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding an unknown person promoting narcotic substances along the route extending from Gallery Semaan to Hazmieh. Consequently, the relevant units in the branch initiated their field and investigative procedures to uncover the identity of the dealer and arrest him. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the branch was able to identify him as F.B. (born in 1991, Lebanese)."
The statement added, "On June 22, 2024, after a precise surveillance operation, one of the branch patrols managed to arrest him red-handed in the Hazmieh area while he was promoting drugs aboard a 'GR' motorcycle. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, the following items were seized: 21 plastic containers containing cocaine base, 20 bags of crystal meth, 25 envelopes of a substance known as rabbit, 67 envelopes of techno, 14 envelopes of tramadol, 8 bags of hashish, 8 bags of salvia, 8 plastic containers of cocaine, a sum of money, and 2 mobile phones."
During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him regarding the promotion of narcotics along the route extending from Gallery Semaan to Hazmieh. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent authority based on judicial instructions.
