While the world awaits the Iranian response to the assassination of Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh, and Hezbollah's retaliation for the killing of leader Fouad Shukr, the Ansar Allah movement announced today, Wednesday, the targeting of "two American destroyers and a ship in the Red Sea."
In detail, the spokesman for Ansar Allah, Yahya Saree, stated: "The missile force, drones, and naval forces of the Yemeni armed forces carried out a joint military operation targeting the ship (Contship Ono) in the Red Sea with several ballistic missiles and drones, achieving a precise hit." He noted that "the targeting of the ship was due to the company's violation of the ban on entering the ports of occupied Palestine."
Furthermore, he indicated that "the drone force executed a quality military operation targeting the American destroyer (Cole) in the Gulf of Aden with several drones," confirming that "the operation successfully achieved its goal."
Saree highlighted that "naval forces carried out a quality military operation targeting the American destroyer (Laboon) with several ballistic missiles." He clarified that "the targeting of the two American destroyers occurred while they were passing through the operational area of the Yemeni armed forces towards the northern Red Sea as part of American military protection for Israel."
Saree affirmed that "we consider the American military movements as hostile actions." This morning, American and British airstrikes targeted the governorate of Taiz.
