Social media circulated news that Kazakh boxer Zankosh Turarov is a suspect in a rape case. The website Zakon.kz reported that "the police in the Oiuzovsky region received a report around 11 PM regarding 5 cases of rape." The police are taking action to arrest Zankosh Turarov based on a statement from one of the victims claiming he raped her. Zankosh Turarov, 33 years old, is one of the most renowned Kazakh boxers and the IBO world champion in the junior middleweight category. Throughout his career, he has fought 28 matches and remained unbeaten in all of them. The boxer has been married since 2016 and has a daughter.
