The security forces in Giza have arrested a famous TikToker known as Leila, accused of posting inappropriate videos and pornographic live streams promoting homosexuality in the Haram area. Investigations revealed that TikToker Leila is actually a young man named Mahmoud who exploited social media platforms to share these provocative videos and live streams advocating for homosexuality.
Earlier, the Economic Court of Cairo sentenced TikToker "Crowan Mashakel" and the lesser-known presenter Engy Hamada, known in the media as the creators of the "kitchen video," to one year in prison and a fine of 100,000 Egyptian pounds for promoting debauchery, inciting immorality, violating community values, and infringing on the sanctity of private life. The investigations for case number 17401 of 2023 in the First Settlement Misdemeanor Court were published after the prosecution accused Crowan Mashakel of assaulting the principles and familial values in Egyptian society and violating the sanctity of private life, while he denied broadcasting the clip on TikTok to the public indiscriminately.
