The Traffic Management Authority for Vehicles and Transport - Vehicle Registration Department - has announced the procedure for receiving citizen transactions starting from April 16, 2024, as follows:
**A. Main Center in Dekouané:**
Citizens can book an appointment in advance on the Authority's website. Appointments will be available every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday starting from 10:00 AM, depending on the daily capacity of each department. Services for private/public vehicle inspections, cancellations of traffic stops, lost document replacements, and the release of vehicles in tourism categories (private and public), trucks, and buses will remain open to everyone without appointments, according to the following schedule:
- **Tuesdays:** Vehicle registrations ending with serial numbers: B 0/1/2/3
- **Wednesdays:** Vehicle registrations ending with serial numbers: B 4/5/6
- **Thursdays:** Vehicle registrations ending with serial numbers: B 7/8/9
**Note:** Tuesday, April 9, 2024, is designated for completing the registrations of private vehicles that have been previously inspected, upon presenting an appointment corresponding to the date of the previous inspection.
**B. In Other Departments (Zahle, Sidon, Nabatieh, and Tripoli):**
- **Tuesdays:** Vehicles/registrations ending with serial numbers: B 0/1/2/3
- **Wednesdays:** Vehicles/registrations ending with serial numbers: B 4/5/6
- **Thursdays:** Vehicles/registrations ending with serial numbers: B 7/8/9
The Authority reminded citizens of the possibility to view the required documents for each type of service on their website: [https://tmo.gov.lb/web/panel/info](https://tmo.gov.lb/web/panel/info). The currently available services include:
- Registration of used imported vehicles for the first time that were previously inspected according to the specified procedure.
- Registration of imported used vehicles (with customs certificate) that must be presented or inspected according to the specified procedure.
- Registration of (0 km) tourist vehicles for individuals that do not require inspection according to the specified procedure.
- Registration of (0 km) tourist vehicles imported by car import companies and other firms.
- Registration of rental vehicles (in Dekouané).
- Transfer of ownership of parked tourist vehicles (scrap) that must be brought for inspection (in Dekouané with prior appointment).
- Returning private tourist vehicles to operation under their owner’s name according to the specified procedure.
- Release of public tourist vehicles from confiscation, issuance of a lost permit for public vehicles, and social security forms.
- Releasing mortgages on private tourist vehicles according to the specified procedure.
- Release of confiscated used imported vehicles according to the specified procedure.
- Obtaining a certificate of allocation for a distinctive number or replacement for a lost one.
- Transfer of ownership for a distinctive number plate.
- Returning public tourist vehicles to operation.
- Transfer of ownership of public tourist vehicles.
- Registration of new motorcycles for individuals in Dekouané (0 km) through prior appointment on the Authority's website.
- Release of motorcycles from confiscation according to the specified procedure.
- Scrap capabilities for vehicles and motorcycles according to the specified procedure.
Regarding public transportation and buses at the Dekouané center exclusively: payment of annual traffic fees, submission of requests for ownership sequences for plates, obtaining forms (for social security or police), and scrap operations for public works vehicles.
Regarding private transport and buses at the Dekouané center exclusively: submission of private truck registration requests for prior approval, registration of approved private transport and buses through prior appointment on the Authority's website, and scrap releases (through prior appointment on the website).
- Payment of mechanical fees.
- Issuance of a lost or damaged driving license and renewal of expired driving licenses according to the specified procedure.
- Issuance of an international driving license.
- Obtaining a driving license form for abroad according to the specified procedure.
The Authority noted that it "will announce the provision of new services in the upcoming weeks."
