Marwan Hamadeh: War Within Days or Hours

Deputy Marwan Hamadeh revealed in an interview with "MTV" that "I have information from officials directly involved in the negotiations that war is imminent within a few days or hours." He noted that "if the negotiations regarding Gaza had progressed, we could have somewhat defused the 'explosion,' and Russia has prevented Syria from engaging in the war." He continued, "We have urged Hezbollah not to enter into the war, and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah still holds the decision, and 'things have not unraveled yet.'" Hamadeh asserted that there will "not be a civil war in Lebanon, but any intervention or pressure on Lebanese ground could change the existing political geography, for instance, through displacement."
