Fire Breaks Out in 12 Shops in Egypt

A massive fire broke out in 12 shops selling gifts and clothes, as well as a bazaar selling pharaonic statues, within the Al-Jamaleya Mall near Al-Hussein Mosque in Egypt. The mall, covering an area of 1500 square meters, consists of a ground floor and two additional floors located in the Muski district, which is one of Cairo's most famous popular markets. Efforts are ongoing to ascertain the details and extent of the damages caused by the fire.

The Cairo Security Directorate's operations room received a report about the large fire in Al-Jamaleya Mall, affecting 12 of the 21 shops on the first floor. The fire spread to the second floor of the mall, which is designated for shops selling gifts and clothes, and also impacted bazaar areas selling pharaonic statues.

Immediately, civil protection vehicles were dispatched to the scene, along with ambulances in case there were any injuries. Firefighters are currently working to control the blaze and prevent it from spreading to adjacent shops.
