The ranking included cities characterized by attractive surroundings and extremely low crime rates.
Abu Dhabi also secured a place on the recommended list by "Travel Bag" for the best cities in the world to spend holiday evenings, coming in at 9th place. While many tourists who spend their vacations in cities prefer to wake up early to make the most of their day exploring, many cities around the world appear more beautiful when illuminated after sunset, while also ensuring safety and walkability.
According to the research results, the best destination for nighttime activities during the holiday is Dubai, which outperformed the largest city on Earth, Tokyo, the capital of Japan. The agency highlighted Dubai's status as a significant global commercial hub that boasts a wide array of stunning buildings, many of which are beautifully lit at night, enhancing the emirate's appearance.
The agency noted that Dubai has more than 27,300 mentions from Instagram users, surpassed only by New York City. Another popular destination for holiday evenings that encourages "Travel Bag" tourists to explore at night is Tokyo.
Regionally, the city of Muscat in Oman was recommended by "Travel Bag" for tourists planning to spend a holiday in a less crowded destination, according to the Gulf website.
