Public Appearance of Munir Al-Maqdah After the Assassination of His Brother in Sidon

Activists circulated a video on social media showing Major General Munir Al-Maqdah of the "Fatah" movement participating in condolence ceremonies for the martyrdom of his brother, Brigadier General Khalil Al-Maqdah, who was assassinated by Israel in the city of Sidon on Wednesday. Al-Maqdah was seen among a crowd of mourners who approached him to shake his hand and offer their condolences. An Israeli drone targeted Khalil Al-Maqdah's car while it was passing between the Mieh Mieh and Ain al-Hilweh areas in Sidon. The targeting resulted in Al-Maqdah's martyrdom and damage to his car as well as another vehicle that was parked nearby.
