A woman sitting behind former U.S. President Donald Trump has sparked reactions due to her demeanor and body language at the moment shots were fired during an assassination attempt at a campaign rally in Pennsylvania on Saturday evening local time. Activists noted in recent days what they described as "suspicious" behavior from the woman, who was wearing a white jacket and a black hat, highlighting her "calm" reaction amidst the panic and screams from those around her, according to "CNN Arabic."
A person who revisited the footage of the assassination attempt multiple times discovered that the woman exhibited body language and behavior suggesting she had prior knowledge of the impending event. While everyone else panicked upon hearing the gunshots, she remained still and fearlessly raised her phone to start recording.
It is noteworthy that the shooter, Thomas Matthew Crooks, informed his employer that he needed to take a day off that day because he had "something to do," according to several law enforcement officials, and he told his coworkers he would return to work on Sunday.
After the shooting, multiple law enforcement sources reported that investigators found a bulletproof vest, three fully loaded magazines, and two remotely controlled explosive devices in Crooks' car. Investigators are uncertain whether Crooks had a plan to use the body armor, the nearly 100 additional rounds of ammunition in his loaded magazines, and the remotely controlled bombs had he fled after the shooting.
