The head of the "Loyalty to the Resistance" bloc, MP Mohammad Raad, affirmed that "we are confident in the stage we have reached, as the goals set forth by the Zionist enemy will achieve the opposite. After these months of war, we will conclude that the Zionist prisoners in the hands of the resistance and their people have become more threatening than before, and it is possible that none will be released, therefore there will be no liberation of prisoners. Regarding the second goal proposed by the Israeli enemy, whether it enters Rafah or not, it will negotiate with Hamas, which it vowed at the beginning of the aggressive war to crush, and it will find that the only entity able to negotiate for the release and exchange of its prisoners is Hamas."
Raad's remarks came during a commemorative celebration held by Hezbollah for the "happy martyr on the road to Jerusalem," Hussein Ibrahim Maki (Sayyid Maki) at the Imam Hussein Complex in the city of Tyre, in the presence of MP Hassan Azeddine, head of the electronic media unit in Hezbollah, Dr. Hussein Rahal, chairman of the "Tyre Scholars Meeting," Sheikh Ali Yassin, and several scholars, dignitaries, and families of martyrs, along with a large crowd of citizens.
MP Raad emphasized that the resistance is escalating its operations against the Israeli enemy to maintain the deterrence equation, so that the enemy does not mistakenly believe, even for a moment, that it has the capability and preparation to pounce on Lebanon and achieve its delusions therein, and thus, we will emerge victorious when we thwart the enemy's objectives.
He clarified that "what the enemy has achieved in Gaza is merely destruction, which it obtains with distinction, but this destruction is not of its doing; it is crafted by its masters who provided it with smart bombs to destroy buildings and neighborhoods, and provided rockets that destroy hospitals. The proof is that the Americans say they have halted the sending of weapons and ammunition since the Israelis are insisting on continuing the war against Rafah. This statement reveals that the Americans did not abandon the Israelis for seven months; they were the ones financing and supporting them with weapons and ammunition. Even the enemy's Prime Minister, when he insisted on trying his luck in Rafah, stated that we will continue our war against Rafah even if alone, which means that during the past seven months, he was not alone."
Raad viewed that "what we are witnessing today in the West regarding movements and uprisings in universities and the streets indicates that the contemporary generation of Westerners has been shocked by the true image of the Zionists, as the media and educational curricula in their countries have taught them that Israel is the oasis of democracy in the Middle East, the only democratic country in the Middle East, adhering to protecting human rights by all measures and standards, and committed to international law, knowing that its representatives have torn the United Nations Charter several times on the podium of the UN. Thus, this image has shocked the contemporary generation and exposed the Zionist enemy, and it is our responsibility to capitalize on this transformation."
