The media apparatus of the Kataeb Party stated that "the media smear campaign disappears for periods and then resurfaces according to the wishes of the operator, as seen in the last two days following a series of interviews with the party's leader, Deputy Sami Gemayel." It said in a statement: "This 'orchestra' has become known, and no one in the media institutions takes them seriously anymore; however, they find some digital platforms to spread their poison. We are used to them and no longer pause at what is issued by its members; they are exposed, malicious, trivial, and liars, as can be said by those who applaud them, not by us. They are a channel for insults and foul language. We are accustomed to them; they are mere instruments who only speak what their operator supplies them without even understanding the content, as demonstrated by one of them who long-windedly attacked a concept that no one had said but rather imagined, falsely attributing it to the head of the Kataeb. In contrast, another frustrated individual resorted to personal attacks after failing to respond with argument and logic."
It added: "So to the main operator, the leadership of 'Hezbollah': investing in this ensemble has become farcical, and their intellectual, political, and moral emptiness has become a losing game, and they are paying the price for the misguided orders issued by you. If you have something to say, please do so through your party's members and officials, who the screens have longed for since you decided to open a front of bravado and arrogance. Your media and security tricks have become tired, and we have been accustomed to them for more than two decades since you decided to slash freedom and seize decision-making in Lebanon."
