After discussing general predictions related to seismic activity in the Middle East, Dutch earthquake monitor Frank Hoogerbeets has now specified the areas that will be affected by these movements in the coming days. He noted via his account on the platform "X" today, Thursday, "It seems that unusual weather patterns persist on this side of the planet," referring to the Middle East, and shared a map published by the research agency he heads, SSGEOS, indicating the region, particularly in the south near Yemen in the Gulf of Aden and north towards Iraq, Turkey, Syria, and Iran.
Earlier, the controversial expert posted on "X" on Wednesday, stating, "Yesterday, the Earth was in conjunction with Mercury and Venus, as well as a lunar conjunction with Mars, which could lead to strong to significant seismic activity in the next few days."
Hoogerbeets had previously pointed to the possibility of increased seismic activity around the fifteenth or sixteenth of this month, but nothing occurred. He has indicated his predictions for Turkey, the Middle East, and Africa, stating that after a long period, unusual natural conditions have been observed in these areas, and "given the level of anomaly, I expect an earthquake measuring 6 on the Richter scale." He further noted that Turkey, Syria, and Lebanon, particularly Turkey, are the most seismically active regions.
Regarding Yemen, he mentioned, "An earthquake near Yemen is possible." In response to a comment about his prediction not materializing, he clarified, "We never say 'will be.' This is about potential and probability." Another follower asked if there is a likelihood of an earthquake in Yemen, to which the Dutch expert replied, "Near Yemen is possible."
Hoogerbeets' predictions and warnings have caused considerable alarm worldwide, as he links them to planetary conjunctions in space and their critical geometry affecting the Earth and causing earthquakes, based on his theory which he strongly defends. His predictions have previously targeted several locations around the globe, leading to earthquakes in various countries, which he has used to remind his followers that he predicted those quakes.
It is noteworthy that all scientists reject Hoogerbeets' controversial theories, considering them unscientific, asserting that there is no connection between planets and the movement and activity of earthquakes on Earth. Up to now, this matter is deemed impossible. Modern science has successfully predicted weather conditions with accuracy and has designed mathematical equations that allow for the prediction of astronomical phenomena such as eclipses. However, according to scientists and experts, there is currently no way to predict earthquakes, whether through planetary movements or otherwise, warning against individuals posing as experts who spread fear and anxiety among the public for fame or social media engagement.
