Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes this evening targeting the vicinity of Birkat Mays al-Jabal, the outskirts of Majdal Selm, Al-Jumayjmah, and Shuqra. Initial reports indicated eight injuries that were transported by the Lebanese Red Cross and the Scout of the Message in an airstrike that targeted a house in the town of Al-Jumayjmah, part of at least four strikes executed by the Israeli warplanes at the start of this night, where Shuqra, Al-Jumayjmah, Majdal Selm, and Birkat Mays al-Jabal were all targeted. Later, media outlets reported that the number of injuries in the Al-Jumayjmah airstrike had risen to two dead and 12 wounded. It was added that "debris removal operations are still ongoing."
Additionally, media reported the death of a field commander in Hezbollah's al-Ridwan forces during the Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon, named Habib Ma'touq. The airstrike targeted a house in the town of Majdal Selm, leading to injuries and a large fire in the area, prompting ambulance and firefighting vehicles to respond.
