After a hiatus of nearly four years due to the closure caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the circumstances faced by the country, Faqra Club has resumed hosting show jumping competitions. The club organized an event under the auspices of the Lebanese Equestrian Federation, with a strong turnout of 71 riders from various affiliated clubs, attended by federation members and a crowd of family and game enthusiasts. Faqra Club will host summer equestrian competitions to benefit from the pleasant climate of the area and the lower temperatures, which help mitigate the challenges that heat presents for both riders and horses.
The venue appeared revitalized after the club’s management undertook renovations, which received praise from the participants.
