American billionaire Elon Musk accepted a clear challenge from Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to fight physically, after Musk repeatedly attacked the world's richest man regarding what he called a "major electoral fraud." Musk also retweeted a message from Argentine President Javier Milei, urging Maduro to "acknowledge defeat after years of socialism, misery, degradation, and death." Following Musk's posts, Maduro stated on national television in Venezuela: "Do you want to fight? Let’s do it, Elon Musk. I am ready. I am not afraid of you. Elon Musk, let’s fight wherever you want." Musk responded in a post on the platform he owns, "X": "I accept. If I win, he will resign from his position as dictator of Venezuela; if he wins, I will give him a free trip to Mars." The Venezuelan electoral commission announced that Maduro won a third term in the presidential elections held on Sunday. The commission added that Maduro received more than 51 percent of the votes after counting 80 percent of the ballots.
