Italy Warns Israel Against Falling into the "Trap of Lebanon"

Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni expressed her "deep concern over the risks of regional escalation due to developments in Lebanon" on Tuesday. She warned Israel against "falling into the trap" of Lebanon, voicing her worries about the potential for escalation in the region. She stated, "I express my concern regarding the tensions between Lebanon and Israel and warn of the risk of regional escalation," adding, "There are regional parties trying to provoke Israel, and Tel Aviv must not fall into the trap."
