The Russian Ministry of Defense announced today, Wednesday, that Ukrainian army losses on the Kursk front due to repulsion by Russian forces amounted to approximately 270 soldiers in the last 24 hours. It added in a statement that "the enemy also lost 16 armored vehicles, including two tanks, while 18 Ukrainian soldiers were captured during the past day."
The ministry noted that attempts by mobile Ukrainian groups to penetrate deep into Russian territory using armored vehicles were thwarted in the areas of the towns of Skrylivka, Levshinka, Seminovka, Alexeyevsky, and Kamsheni. In the Martynovka area, two enemy groups moving in pickup trucks were discovered and destroyed.
Russian forces repelled six attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces in various border areas of Kursk and struck four enemy brigades, while aviation targeted Ukrainian troop reserves near five towns in the border Sumy region. The statement mentioned that total enemy losses on the Kursk front since the beginning of the fighting have reached approximately 2,300 soldiers, 37 tanks, and 32 armored personnel carriers.
