West Ham United, competing in the Premier League, announced today, Tuesday, the signing of right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka from Manchester United on a seven-year contract. The deal was finalized for around £15 million ($19.19 million). Wan-Bissaka's contract with United was set to expire at the end of the upcoming season. The 26-year-old began his career at Crystal Palace before joining United in 2019. He has played 190 matches for the team and contributed to winning the FA Cup last season. Wan-Bissaka stated, "I see a united team, where every player pushes each other to win, and a group that supports one another in good times and bad; it was an easy decision for me to join West Ham. I am excited and happy to be here." West Ham, who finished ninth last season, will start their Premier League journey by hosting Aston Villa next Saturday under the management of their new coach, Julen Lopetegui.
