According to a security source from MTV, the Directorate of Intelligence has arrested A. Mashour, the shooter in the Burj Abi Haidar incident, along with two other individuals, one of whom is hospitalized following the Saturday quarrel.
The sources added: "The army intelligence has commenced investigations under the supervision of the military judiciary to uncover the circumstances of the incident and refer the detainees and seized items for trial."
The sources also indicated that the Burj Abi Haidar altercation resulted in two fatalities and three injuries. It was revealed that "the army is deploying between Burj Abi Haidar and Noueiri to prevent any renewal of conflicts, and it has sent a stern message emphasizing the importance of maintaining security in the capital."
