An Israeli patrol advanced to the outskirts of Kfar Shouba in the Arqoub area yesterday, where Mayor of Kfar Shouba and President of the Arqoub Municipal Union, Qasem Al-Qadri, was interrogated by the Israeli patrol while he was at the water tank site that supplies the town.
According to reports, Al-Qadri was subjected to questioning and had his phone confiscated before being released.
Al-Qadri returned to the town in good health.
In a statement, the Kfar Shouba municipality clarified the events of the previous day, stating that Mayor and Union President Dr. Qasem Al-Qadri was questioned by an Israeli patrol at the water tank site, had his phone taken, and then was released.
The statement confirmed that Dr. Al-Qadri is in good health and back with his family and townspeople, emphasizing that he was neither arrested nor taken anywhere.
