Displaced People from Northern Israel Attack Ben Gvir (Video)

Displaced individuals from northern Israel attacked the far-right National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir while he was at a gas station, labeling him as an "terrorist and saboteur." According to circulated reports, Ben Gvir and his wife were at the gas station when displaced individuals from the north approached him, yelling, "Terrorist, terrorist, I hate you, go away, you miserable person, we cannot return home while you are roaming here." Others shouted: "Terrorist, go home, go away, go away, you miserable terrorist, I hate you, you are destroying this country, terrorist, terrorist, terrorist."

This incident is described as pure hatred towards National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and a rejection of the democratic election results that occurred in Israel. Ben Gvir (48 years old) has gained notoriety as one of the most extreme figures, even before he became one of the key pillars of the most right-wing coalition in Israel's history. He continues to attack anyone who disagrees with the opinions of his electoral base, which supports settlement policies associated with his party, Otzma Yehudit (Jewish Power).

Notably, the Israeli army announced on October 16 that it had activated a plan to evacuate residents of 28 settlements located within 2 kilometers of the Lebanese border. Settlements in northern Israel were evacuated last December over fears of a potential war with Hezbollah. Currently, over 100,000 Israelis remain displaced from their homes since the onset of the war, due to Israeli evacuation orders.
