According to the channel "Al-Hadath," the Syrian Ministry of Interior has emphasized that "Lebanon is a sovereign state and not a backyard as perceived by the previous regime." The ministry highlighted that "coordination with Lebanon is the cornerstone of any assistance Syria provides to it."
While noting that "we have succeeded in maintaining the borders and security of neighboring countries," the ministry affirmed that "we will spare no effort to alleviate security pressures on neighboring countries."
