The Ministry of Education and Higher Education – General Directorate of Education, through the Official Exams Department, has issued an administrative memorandum specifying the written exam dates for the 2026 extraordinary session. This applies to the Intermediate Certificate (for free applicants only) and the General Secondary Certificate in its four divisions.
According to the memorandum, the General Secondary Certificate exams will commence on July 22, 2026, while the Intermediate Certificate exams for free applicants will begin on August 10, 2026.
