Intensifying Israeli Airstrikes: Evacuation Warnings Amid South Lebanon Tensions

Israeli military aggression continues to mount in southern Lebanon, following a tense and fiery day in the city of Nabatieh and its surroundings. Early Monday morning, Israeli airstrikes targeted a vehicle in the town of Kafarman, resulting in one death and two injuries.

Israeli jets also launched strikes on the towns of Arabsaleem and Kafarman, while the Israeli army detonated an amusement park located between the areas of Zotar Al Sharqiya, Kaftabnite, and Upper Nabatieh.

The Kafarman raid targeted a residential building, leading to several injuries, and recovery operations using heavy machinery are ongoing.

Additionally, Israeli warplanes targeted a building in Deir Al-Zahrani that had been urgently warned for evacuation, prompting a significant exodus from Nabatieh district villages due to the threat.

Israeli military spokesperson Ella Wawia issued a critical warning to Lebanon's residents, particularly those in Deir Al-Zahrani.

Via her account on the platform 'X,' she stated: “Following Hezbollah’s blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement by launching an armed drone towards defense forces, the terror activities of Hezbollah compel the defense forces to take strong action. The defense forces do not intend for you to be harmed.

We urge all residents in the designated red building on the attached map and nearby buildings to evacuate immediately: You are near a Hezbollah terror facility that the defense forces will target. For your safety and the safety of your families, leave the building and adjacent structures immediately and keep at least a 300-meter distance. Remaining near the specified red building places you in danger.”
